better with age

This axe head was given to me by a friend I work with,

It was nearly eaten through in some places with rust, but it cleaned up beautifully.

Salvaged steel made for a great counterweight,

Cut and forged into a gentle crescent, then attached with copper rivets.

To make it truly his, I decided to burn a personalized motif into the handle,

The result was pretty spectacular. I hope it stays with him for a long time.
